In mining applications, it can be used to prepare the feed material before the mill.The access door allows for quick maintenance of the rotor, significantly reducing maintenance downtime. Custom lifting devices and rotor swivel arms replace additional lifting equipment for general maintenance, facilitating the repair of internal crusher components and expediting rotor replacement.
The feed material is the first to enter the rotor and is accelerated to a maximum of 80 m/s (262 ft/s) before being discharged from the crushing chamber. In addition, the material can bypass the rotor overflow into the crushing chamber.
This waterfall feature allows operators to optimize throughput and power consumption, as well as control product gradation and grain shape to meet specifications.
